THE PROBLEM

Depression hits many soldiers, and their family. Pleasant event scheduling (PES) is a common behavioral therapy element used in suicide prevention, It is based on Lewinsohn’s (1974) reinforcement theory of depression.

THE SOLUTION

Using a sort of "game", Positive Activity Jackpot helps a clinician or just the average person, to get up and schedule themselves well. Even better, it uses their existing contacts, and Augmented Reality to help find local things to do.

Discover: During user testing, users wanted to rate everything, and block people from doing events with. For instance Grandma, Surfing might be a little awkward.

Decision: Give users full control of blocking, and managing events in their full context.
